Église Notre Dame de Lorette II

Rich colors adorn every corner of this large church, much like a museum.

I would like to return for a concert on the Cavaille-Coll organ,
and to see if there are any mistresses in attendance.

Bon dimanche

  9. Near the small city of Arras in northern France there was a terrible battle at a hill with a chapel on it named Notre Dame de Lorette. There is a national cemetery there now where 35000 French soldiers are buried.

It seems that Lorette is a reference to the place where Marie was living when supposedly she was visited by the holy spirit, causing her immaculate conception.
