Rich colors adorn every corner of this large church, much like a museum.
I would like to return for a concert on the Cavaille-Coll organ,
and to see if there are any mistresses in attendance.
Bon dimanche

Wouldbe great to study those Fresco's on the wall. It is wonderful to see other parts of the world through photo blogs like yours.

Gorgeous!!! Love the color of the frescoes!!!
ReplyDeleteMagnifique!!!
ReplyDeleteNear the small city of Arras in northern France there was a terrible battle at a hill with a chapel on it named Notre Dame de Lorette. There is a national cemetery there now where 35000 French soldiers are buried.
ReplyDeleteIt seems that Lorette is a reference to the place where Marie was living when supposedly she was visited by the holy spirit, causing her immaculate conception.
The interior of this church is lovely. The rich colors make me feel good.
ReplyDeleteHow could someone not love this city with so much beauty all around.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. Every church in Paris is worth seeing! Even for the nonreligious.
