  1. I love Madame´s red coat as well as the combination of the striped sweater and the scarf with dots.

  5. Voilà une jeune femme qui ne passe pas inaperçue. Mais a-t-elle vraiment besoin de cette couleur? On la remarque naturellement, non?

  8. Red hair, red classes and I bet red nails (the only kind to have!!) red stripes, maybe that's not her scooter, maybe her red one is just down a bit Genie or around the corner!! Love the everyday life going on around her!

  9. Years ago it was fashionable to wear vinyl raincoats of this time and I had a red, red one, very similar to hers. No bike, though!

  13. Oh I feel sure she, and her Mom (in the background)were waiting for a taxi to go and get their manicures. A scooter arrived instead...and she is considering if they will both fit...

  14. Madam Bouvier could do nothing but stare at her gleaming, black scooter. Her red painted nails had searched everywhere but without success. She didn't fancy walking to the office. Just as she began to turn away a the sunlight reflected silver in the gutter. "Merci", she whispered as she scooped up the keys, donned her red helmet and directed the 2000 cc's to Montemarte.

  20. What a tasty slice of Parisian life--so much in the details to chew on and savour. Excellent caption and capture.

  21. I wonder if she decided to buy the motor? Or maybe she was wondering if it came in a color to match her coat.

  27. Oh, VERY well done, Genie! She's a bit over the top, but pulling it off perfectly. When I lived in Paris, just like Bibi I also had a bright red vinyl raincoat very much like this one. (I just loved that thing!)

  28. I think she should stick with the black so her coat stands out as she's flying by.

  29. Vreni, her dots and stripes are like the ensembles in your Paris window.

beau gosse and Pet... red scooter and nails to match! Shell, not so sure about a blue and white spotted zoom-zoom, but....

Richard, je suis d'accord... non, elle n'a pas besoin de cet moto en rouge.

    Foto, merci!

dive, she does have a bit of frenzy about her, n'est-ce pas?

Grace -- I do hope that she is not an American but the woman with her has a camera...

Bibi and Alexa -- I have a black one that I bought only a year ago, but not red... did you have gogo boots?

Malyss -- I love your red today and think that this woman might have loved that 2CV en rouge!

biebkriebels -- That would be an unusual camo color but there is so much rouge in Paris, it is possible!

  30. Sam and Janey, she was "dressed to the 9s" and one can only imagine what she was thinking at this point.

Joe, my friend, your tales always thrill me... I think that we can get you a job!

Carol -- She is quite the woman-in-charge, the alpha-female in red.

    Jack -- Oui, c'est vrai!

    Birdman -- Hah!

Halcyon, suz, and Suzi -- Merci, mes amies!

Merisi Vienna -- Thank you for visiting and leaving me a comment. Please come again!

Virginia -- I am thinking of going that color, just for my visits in Paris... I always wanted to be a redhead anyway.

Sylvia -- Merci, mon amie, and I wish for you the same.

louciao -- Yes, and the captions are often a struggle. I may have to call you or Joe for help!

    Carrie and JM - Merci!

Amanda -- Yes, even if they are not all quite the same shade of rouge.

Kris -- Uh, different rules for her I think... plus the red glasses.

Loree -- I have seen red, orange, and pink scooters in Paris

    Fabio -- Merci, mon ami

Harriet -- I do love the brights of Paris in all forms

Randy -- Good plan to have a little contrast... wonder what she would look like on a pink or an orange zoom-zoom?
