This sweet trio was seen on the lawn (la pelouse) in front of la Tour Eiffel prior to the celebration of 14 juillet. They were a bit early for the fireworks.
Les Enfants in Paris and France are so beautifully dressed. They look keen x And who wouldnt be sitting there are waiting for the sky to light up--magic!
Ces enfants sont adorables. Je prends surtout plaisir à admirer les petites couettes de cheveux des petites filles. C'est tellement mignon! Il ne faudrait pas qu'elles grandissent!... Bonne journée, Genie!
you've composed this delightful trio perfectly. we see not one face full on and yet we understand their eager anticipation because of the way you've caught them.
The lawn was a playground that day for families and children. There was plenty of space but these three were precious huddled together in a very small space.
Most of the kids that day were in very casual clothing but these were "dressed." (Note the running shoes)
Harriet, "les petites couettes de cheveux" that Richard noted are the little ponytails in the girls' hair.
Adorable little girls and what a delightful capture, Genie! Love how dressed up they are -- and with running shoes/sandals! Ah, memories of my four at that age! Hope your week is going well, mon amie! Enjoy!

Adorable! Love the hairdos!
ReplyDeleteLovely capture, Genie. I'm always terrified to shoot candids of children for fear of hostility from parents/guardians.
