  11. Beautiful picture, Genie. Love the light and shadows, The wavy curves on the shell basin.

Wish my kitchen floor were that clean! That's pretty sad when you consider that my floor is a mere 14 years old and that one is centuries old!

  22. Oooooh. Have I told you I am a sucker for architectural details? And especially when shown sensitively, like this.

  26. A-M -- You knew that it was early morning... of course!

Dianne -- Merci, mon amie... The richness of these colors are pure and I only did a little crop... I don't think that I have found colors like this in my own neighborhood (too new)

Shell -- Merci et bon dimanche à toi, ma chère!

Grace -- When we were ready to leave the church, the sun had already moved away from this spot... so glad that I caught it at just the right moment... merci!

Léia -- Merci et bon dimanche à vous!

Birdman -- Merci, and I think that the stonework on the back and bottom plate of the font is marble.

    Elizabeth -- Merci, my friend!

Bill -- I am always up early unless I have been flying half the night to get home - hah!

Marie -- I think we could have stayed here for a very long time, both taking photos and absorbing the beauty and reverence of this church.

autour -- C'est vrai et c'est le seul jubé dans Paris.

Ruby -- The shell is real and I have seen several of them in the churches of Paris. Glad that you liked the boules also!

Liz -- Yes, but I have a room with brick floors and they hide a multitude of sins... I think this is the case here.

henk -- I agree and you are so kind with your comments, oh great photo artist!

Joop -- I wish that I could bottle that light to use it when I need a special effect in a shot!

Virginia -- Merci, I knew that you would like this one...

Alexa -- Yes, I am glad that you approve since I think of this as "your church" bon dimanche, mon amie!

Picturit -- Many thanks... it is nice when the light pops in at just the right time!

    JM -- Merci, mon ami.

Abby -- The architecture and materials of construction made it an easy one... merci!

megi -- Thank you for your kind comments... J'adore France. Have a nice week ahead.

Jack -- Well, I just cannot get enough of architecture, particularly the small details here. I love when you can see centuries of additions and changes in a single photo.

Randy -- Yes, indeed I do and would love to see this again!

delight -- I do too, mon amie!

Dimple -- Thank you for noticing and appreciating the little details. You are most welcome, mon amie
