Un apéritif à Paris

What a wonderful time we had... a casual party, in Paris!

From left on front row: Julie of Sydney-Eye; Marie (M); Aude of Paris-ci Paris-la; Back row: Peter of Peter's Paris; Cynthia of Parisian Adventures; moi; Mary Ann of Classic.Casual.Home; she-who-must-not-be named, our concierge; Eric Tenin of ParisDailyPhoto.

I cannot imagine anything better than getting together with friends in a chic Paris apartment. It seemed like playing make-believe at the time.

  3. It was indeed a magical evening, Genie. And I again thank you, and Marie, and Janeen for your hospitality. And for posting this image ... which I will purloin if that is okay with you.

  4. I should quickly add, before we venture out (late- for us) on our last day in Paris, that Mary Ann's delightful daughter, Allie, was our photographer for this group shot.

  17. To all -- What a wonderful time this has been with our friend Janeen and blogger friends, meeting new people, talking to strangers, making new discoveries, finding love in my new camera lens, enjoying perfect Paris April weather, walking for miles and miles, knowing which car to ride on the Metro to Pyramides in order to be at the right end, hearing the bells of Eglise St. Roch, finding the honey bees of Paris and getting photos, and so much more. I will be planning my next trip on the flight home!

    Bises,
    Genie

  22. I am home and looking at this again with your comments. It really was a wonderful evening.

Oh, Janeen, the creative artist IS left-handed but is doing quite well now with a "removable cast," able to eat in fine Paris restaurants and paint and draw...
