Driving Miss Daisy -- Carrousel Reflections

The rainy, very cold December day found these two ladies out on a jaunt, taking a spin on the carrousel (which, for the record, is rotating counter-clockwise)...

  7. The title is parfait! I believe Miss Daisy had a very similar bonnet. What a great slice of life. The girls couldn't be cuter and the light reflections are beautiful.

  22. This is extra cute. The girl on the right (as we face them) has an expression of such wonder, and the lights radiate from her! May lights continue to radiate from her throughout her life.

  25. I can't tell if they are enjoying it, enduring it or just mesmerized. I was always terrified of rides when I was little so I'm probably just projecting my fears on these little darlings. They are precious. The pink hat is adorable!

  28. Love it. Looks like lots of fun. Their expressions say a lot. Next time maybe you can take a ride and take a picture from the inside. That would be too funny.

  36. Très belle cette composition... Le carrousel s'efface pour ne laisser place qu'à un oeuf de verre, fragile, une capsule d'éternité fendant l'univers avec à son bord le futur à l'état d'enfance... J'aime décidément beaucoup, bravo !

  37. Hi Genie...it’s the other Genie here. Oh, my....this photo just warms my heart. I love their pensive looking eyes, their mouths, the white gloves on the child on the left, and the lights of the carrousel ride are beautiful. What a fine capture. It makes me think back on all the time we took the children to Walt Disney World. Hugs.

Genie -- Love to see you here... two Genies make for much mischief! These darlings are typical of children everywhere with the wonderment seen in their eyes... Merci!

JM -- Merci... I wondered if many people other than Americans would understand the title

Oakland -- They were dressed "to the 9s" and for the cold weather... Thanks!
