The rainy, very cold December day found these two ladies out on a jaunt, taking a spin on the
carrousel (which, for the record, is rotating counter-clockwise)...

Sweet Genie, you have amazing ideas for the titles!
ReplyDeleteThe girls are adorable, absolutely gorgeous!
And the reflections lights are superb!
The girl at the right size, looks so interesting in something out there, her expression is unique and your picture is awesome, you have captured the moment, and now it's eternal!
bises and happy weekend

I like your title and love the babies faces! So much to see around!
ReplyDeleteThat's a wonderful title, Genie, and those little sweeties are adorable. Oh, to be born with that je ne sais quoi.
ReplyDeleteThe expressions on their faces are priceless...worth a million dollars. How much fun they must have during their spin in the world.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful image!
ReplyDeleteThe title is parfait! I believe Miss Daisy had a very similar bonnet. What a great slice of life. The girls couldn't be cuter and the light reflections are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely - I love the carousels that they have EVERYWHERE in France. xx
ReplyDeleteLove the title of this post! Cute photo too.
ReplyDeleteOh they are adorable. The one on the right looks like a little old lady! :)

Darling little girls!
ReplyDeleteToo cute, and best of all, no need to stop and ask for directions.
ReplyDeleteVery nice and very cute! Mittens!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I LOVE your header photo!
Cute little girls and a terrific capture.
ReplyDeleteOh, SO cute and pretty reflections on those windows!
ReplyDeletePriceless, delightful reflections, Genie! I love them and the look on those two little faces! Perfect! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteSylvia
This is classic! I can picture this framed or as a poster on a wall. It would make a great greeting card too.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful!
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend reflections.

Oh, someone was distracted ay all the pretty lights of Paris!
ReplyDeleteElles sont mignonnes! How many little girls does it take to drive a car?—or maybe this is the Driver's Ed vehicle. :~} Nicely captured. Bon weekend!
ReplyDeleteCute and christmassy!
ReplyDeleteI love les danseuses du Palais Garnier.
Precious!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely precious Genie!!! Their expressions are priceless! Wonderful capture...
ReplyDeleteThis is extra cute. The girl on the right (as we face them) has an expression of such wonder, and the lights radiate from her! May lights continue to radiate from her throughout her life.
ReplyDeleteI know I said I didn't see any going counter-clockwise, but I have this video from Place de la République: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3KGccjc6TGA
ReplyDeleteGenie, so darling!! The girls are a delight!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend...

What pretty little ladies.
ReplyDeleteI can't tell if they are enjoying it, enduring it or just mesmerized. I was always terrified of rides when I was little so I'm probably just projecting my fears on these little darlings. They are precious. The pink hat is adorable!
ReplyDeleteGenie, This is adorable! I love all
ReplyDeleteyour pictures and enjoy your blog
so much! Always makes me homesick
for Paris, though!

A burst of light reflected off the glass and two little ones with rapt interest on what's outside - marvelous photo!
ReplyDeleteLove it. Looks like lots of fun. Their expressions say a lot. Next time maybe you can take a ride and take a picture from the inside. That would be too funny.
ReplyDeleteDianne -- Such the proper ladies... of course
ReplyDeleteLéia -- You are so kind and I am glad that you like these little children... They were adorable as they tried out several different vehicles on the manège...Happy weekend to you and Cezar and Luna!

Bill -- Funny? Only if there was someone to get my photo from this same vantage point - hah!
How fun. This brought back really good memories.
ReplyDeleteRandy -- Well I have dibs on the rocket, but I'll share a turn with you... bon weekend!
ReplyDeleteI love it when kids have no idea how cute they are! And the hat of the right child -priceless!
ReplyDeleteToo cute! Their expressions are so sweet.
ReplyDeleteJeannette -- Kids enjoy just "being" without self-consciousness... So fun to see. Thanks for your comments
ReplyDeleteBrittany -- Merci, mon amie... I am off to check on what you have cooked up this weekend!
This is a wonderful shot for Weekend Reflections!
ReplyDeleteHi Genie...it’s the other Genie here. Oh, my....this photo just warms my heart. I love their pensive looking eyes, their mouths, the white gloves on the child on the left, and the lights of the carrousel ride are beautiful. What a fine capture. It makes me think back on all the time we took the children to Walt Disney World. Hugs.
ReplyDelete'Driving Miss Daisy'! :-) How very cute, Genie, wonderful capture.
ReplyDeleteCute girls enraptured by the wonder of it all. And they're better dressed than I am.
ReplyDeleteMargaret -- Merci, mon amie.
ReplyDelete'Tsuki -- C'est vrai... un oeuf de verre avec ces précieux enfants... tes mots français sont envoûtants... I love the message you saw in this photo... Merci
Genie -- Love to see you here... two Genies make for much mischief! These darlings are typical of children everywhere with the wonderment seen in their eyes... Merci!
JM -- Merci... I wondered if many people other than Americans would understand the title
Oakland -- They were dressed "to the 9s" and for the cold weather... Thanks!
