Le Poissonnier

I am thankful for an abundance of food, for friends and family, for an ability to travel to faraway places, for a job I love, for blogger friends around the world.... Happy Thanksgiving to all my USA friends and expats everywhere!

Oh, and I am thankful that I will be in Paris very soon!

  7. In fact, it gets even more specialised - the Coquilles St Jacquier for example or even the Huitrier..

    My Captcha was "wince", btw

  9. Nice title but I'm afraid it doesn't exist in French. The person selling "mollusque" is a "poissonnier".
Happy thanksgiving and guess what ... we've just had our first snow in the Northern suburb where I work !

  12. Bibi -- I would agree and we would invite Marie as she loves them!

JB - I changed it and then changed it back after Laurent gave the word

Malyss -- I am still confused about the proper term, having never heard of anything different than "poissonnier" but I am open to learning...

Shell -- Merci, ma chere amie (no accents on my laptop)

Leia -- Oh, I hope to see some snow in Paris, a photographer's dream!

Marie -- This is the same market we visited in June. I am thankful for you as well, mon amie!

  14. Virginia -- I will you were coming too, but we'll share our December and January experiences for the next time we are both in Paris.

Laurent -- Thanks for the correction (which is what I originally had until JB "failed" me). SNOW! Fabulous... can't wait to see it!

Sylvia -- I wish you could be in Paris, too! I'll take some "sky shots" to share.

Clueless -- Merci and to you also!

Debbie -- Merci, and I will share many photos upon my return!

Starman -- Happy Thanksgiving to you also.

Jane -- And Paris will be missing you!
