Pont de Sully
This is one of the few cast iron bridges
remaining in Paris today. Built (rebuilt, actually) by
Haussmann in 1876, Pont de Sully is actually two bridges
connecting the eastern tip of Ile Saint Louis
with the banks of the 4th and 5th arrondissements.

It's a beautiful view.
ReplyDeleteIt is a fantastic bridge. We motored under it in our own boat at the beginning of the month.

Thank you, William - glad to be back
ReplyDeleteMinwks - Now that is a wonderful French experience. I felt that way when I went by boat under the Golden Gate Bridge (in San Francisco), and it was not even my boat.
