wow...! This is a "double yolk egg". It has everything! Organized in three levels with contrasting shapes up and down (window, awnings and wheels). It has movement, sound and freshness in fountain -"If I had 50 minutes left in my life, I'd walk around a fountain" (or so) said the Little Prince. I think it would be a fountain like this one-. Do you smell the just made baguette, somewhere around? I'd like to be there playin the "continue the story" game with a friend, about "the old widow who lives in that open window". There is Nature in branches and garden. I wonder about a wonderful moment drinking a beer in Les Arts with new french friends... Beautiful the tune in the piano...Would you believe it's Giovanni Marradi himself?!! Thank you Genie for all these things, but specially thanks for the gift of peace you give us with that pigeon on the ground... d(;-D)anar
francetaste, I have seen him over the years in different places. Twice he was here in Place de la Contrescarpe and once on the Pont Saint-Louis where I gave him one of the portraits I had taken over the years. I will ask the next time I see him just how he gets his piano from place to place.
Danar O, I am touched by your comments and love the "continue the story" game.
Such a lively scene...
ReplyDeleteIf you ever find out about the piano, let us know! I'd love to see him, too!

ReplyDeleteOne would wonder. He'd have to tune it before playing it.
