Jardin du Luxembourg
The autumn bloom of chrysanthemums are ephemeral
but our memories are imprinted with the many shades of gold and orange.
On the first day of each month, the City Daily Photobloggers
from around the world interpret the "theme" and November's
theme is "EPHEMERAL." Take a look here.

I love this shot, Genie!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colour, and good to see you!
ReplyDeleteMums really are short-lived.
ReplyDeleteLovely. So many things that we carry in our minds from France are not there any more, people, food, a fleeting scene.
ReplyDeleteI'd love it if you'd play along with Dreaming of France on Monday. Here’s my Dreaming of France meme
Such a pretty image, Genie.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy the "warming up" effect of the color of flowers. The natural framing and the depth of field to put apart first plane and background are fantastic. The diminishing scale of people is good for creating more depth. Thank you Genie, for coming back, your photos are unique.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful but fleeting flowers but permanent memories.
ReplyDeleteOh my! Every time I see your images Genie I so badly want to be in Paris. Tres jolie image for the theme.
ReplyDeleteGreat theme day shot
