Sacré Coeur et Sainte-Trinité

Paris skyline

From the rooftop of Printemps, looking north/northeast,
one can see a soft palette of colors
in the outline of Sacré Coeur
and Sainte-Trinité

(The tower to the left of Sacré Coeur
is the basilica's bell tower)

bon dimanche

This picture has made my trip to Paris this sunday. I have no words to express my delight on the beauty of these two churches. They are so perfect, each one in their own design and construction!! I'm breathing the Paris air and dreaming on a coffee under those red awning, listening to about photographing the City of Lights... T-h-a-n-k-s s-o m-u-c-h for taking us there, Genie. Blessings for everyone.

It is interesting that from vantage point the tops of the bell tower and domes form a horizontal line.

The Paris skyline speaks for itself. It is unique in all the world. I believe that Sainte-Trinite was being renovated in 2007 when we were there and the tower was covered top to bottom. Or, it may have been another church. :)
