Le Lapin Agile
"the agile rabbit"
A famous Montmartre cabaret, this charming place
was once called Cabaret des Assassins.
Covered in ivy from early spring
it sits just opposite the Montmartre vineyards on its steep hill.
Although I have never been inside,
my camera has probably clicked a thousand photos over the years.
Like much of Paris, each season changes the perspective.

I like the faded quality of it.
Like you, I've never been inside. And like you, I've snapped many photos of this wonderful spot. None, I fear, can hold a candle to this one of yours!
