  2. I've only seen it a few times during this season, but it is always breath-taking.

  4. Nice one in the dark. Yes wintertime is ideal for this kinds of shots with so many dark hours.

  7. I tend to avoid the Champs Elysées—but not when it's all decked out for Christmas. So beautiful, Genie!

  8. To watch this photo, is to be on a fantastic suspension bridge or going thru the Red Sea when it was separated by Moses-.
It's a beautiful explosion of lines coming to hug me, each light frozen and with an AMAZING depth of field (that's almost reaching England), in low light!

I'm writing this from a table of the Rue de Castiglione - café. I'm still trapped IN your yesterday picture, as an ant in a jar. Because I realized that "In a few hours, the city will awake and these chairs will be full", not full of live, but full of human lives. That after few moments, never will be all together again. Each one, a version of universe to be discovered, accepted and loved in their uniqueness. What could be written in the "Memories of a Paris waiter"? I almost "see" one of them making notes using a tiny pencil for his book at this no-customers time, on one of these tables...
Endless thanks Genie, please remember safety , behave well and enjoy lots of lovely pics today!. Best wishes for each one of your blog friends. d(:D)

  9. Alexa, I agree about the Champs, but the Christmas lights late at night were lovely.

SC, you are right about the many dark hours of winter, and it is something to celebrate.

    Elizabeth, I totally agree!

Danar, now that would make a great book... the memories of a Paris waiter. Hummmm....

(So sorry to all about the Word Verification - perhaps everyone is having this problem. My settings say "no" WF)

    Bises,
    Genie
