Stohrer - Pâtissier-Trateur
When Louis XV married the Polish royal Marie Leszczynska in 1725,
her pastry chef followed to Versailles.
Five years later this chef, Nicolas Stohrer,
opened his bakery at 51, rue Montorgueil where it stands today.
Open seven days a week (!)
it still satisfies the tastes of Parisians and the visitors.

Joli à voir, mais pas facile à découper (avec un taille-haies peut-être).

ReplyDeleteIt looks like it's made of layers of vertically stacked eclairs.
ReplyDeleteAlain can try using "un taille-haies" but I'd just start peeling off eclairs one by one. :-)
Wow - incredible!
ReplyDeleteIs that a real cake or a display?
ReplyDeleteTalk about "over the top"!
ReplyDeleteNow that's how to catch the customers attention.
