Le Bon Marché
Although you cannot take photos inside La Grande Epicerie de Paris*
you have ample opportunity to photograph through the windows.
I wonder if he even notices what is happening on the street.
*unless you are very tricky
La Grande Epicerie de Paris
Le Bon Marché
24, rue de Sèvres
75007, Paris
Great shot! I've been taking a lot of photos of people through windows lately. I'll have to stop by here next time I'm in Paris. :-)
ReplyDeleteI think he is concentrating on the task at hand Genie. Cooling up a storm for some lucky diner.
ReplyDeleteI imagine he's much more focused on what he's doing at the moment.
ReplyDeleteHe's very focused indeed! And whatever he's making, I'm certain it's exquisite!
ReplyDeleteImagine living right across la rue from this emporium of yumminess! ;~}
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful. I should so like to be there right now!
ReplyDeleteHe looks so serious.
ReplyDeleteAlexa, yes, indeed? Can you imagine?
ReplyDeleteJames, this is along the side street, rue du Bac. If you like windows this is a chic, narrow street full of treasures.
Mary, I should have stopped to see what he was making!
Bises,
Genie
I spent days here last month browsing things, buying chocolate eclairs and cooked food for the dinner table. This, along with le Bon Marche across rue du Bac, was my favorite department in town.
ReplyDeleteWe stayed a few hundred metres away from Le Bon Marche on our Paris trip last year, and came to call La Grande Epicer the corner shop. Sure some things were very expensive (don't let the kids buy dragon fruit!), but you could buy staples- bread, cheese, tomatoes, yoghurt, and wine at very reasonable prices.
