a stationer's shop
(papeterie)
There are at least four things in this window
on Rue du Pont Louis-Philippe that should have been bought for gifts.
This street, just north of the Seine,
has an abundance of charming little shops,
several of which have papers and books like this one.

Exactly the kind of things I'd like to bring back home : I'm made about note-books !

ReplyDeleteAn extra suitcase may come in handy, Genie.
ReplyDeleteYou may not be surprised to know that I have that card on the left of Notre Dame -- bought it here! A paper store gets me right where I live -- thanks for posting the address!
ReplyDeleteI got the unfolding Eiffel tower for a friend - just couldn't pass it up - she didn't show much excitement at it and I really wanted to take it out of her hands for myself!
ReplyDeleteThe Notre Dame card particularly catches my eye.
ReplyDeleteI would have been very excited to receive the folding ET. In fact, maybe next time . . . I'll just get it for myself!
ReplyDeleteThere is a shop near here that sells those magical folding cards but it seems better to buy one in Paris, don't you think?
ReplyDeleteI would buy at least two of each!
ReplyDeleteThese would make fun little gifts.
ReplyDeleteDid I buy anything here? No, but I have a new plan for my next visit. Anything this small that will store flat in my single carry-on bag is coming back to the US!
ReplyDeleteIt is nice to see that I am not the only one with a paper fettish/obsession!
Bises,
Genie
Yes, I can definitely see lots of temptations.
ReplyDeleteI want it all!
