Bazar des Écoles
Although you will see many of these types of shops in Paris,
the awnings and corner location caught my eye.
The 'bazar' was busy with shoppers
and I regret that we did not stop in for a closer look.
Much more charming
than an Ace Hardware Store back home!

I imagine that they would do a roaring trade with the cases Genie. What tourist doesn't need a bit of extra packing space to carry all their "finds' in. Cheers J.

ReplyDeleteThat red is very eye-catching!
ReplyDeleteHello Genie,
ReplyDeleteThis looks just the kind of store into which we are always drawn. There is a feeling that one can find virtually everything inside, all of which will be practical and beautiful.
What a tempting shop to explore ... I like the straw hats and baskets!
ReplyDeleteObviously all Ace Hardware stores are not alike, but my AH has a delightful shopping section with an assortment of "things you just can't do without," such as hand-crafted jewelry, kitchen equipment, eco-friendly cleaning items, great dish towels, aprons, books, "apparel" for your pets, etc., not to mention a fabulous garden store. It's buyer stocks from items selected at the merchandise mart in town ... finds that little something you didn't know you needed, as well as a gift for a friend.
ReplyDeleteIt certainly looks like the store's overflowing!
ReplyDeleteI just love it & it makes me want to go back to Paris! That is the street that was in Midnight in Paris?
ReplyDeleteSomething for everyone here, surely. The red makes it extra inviting.
ReplyDeleteHey! Be nice to Ace Hardware. It is my favorite store in Naples (actually, Bonita Springs).
ReplyDeleteI remember the days when we enter shops in Paris randomly and found a rare gem (souvenir). A beauty that captures you the most, the rare small collection that symbolize Paris and reminisces the magnificent city! It’s great to stumble upon here!

I'm sure this is the exact shop where I purchased my market bag (mon filet à provisions) and a tote for purchases that wouldn't fit into my suitcase! Wonderful memories!!!! Thanks, Genie.
