The phone does ruin the bond, doesn't it? We were in a coffee shop yesterday and by the time I got the coffee to the table, everyone in my family was looking at their phone rather than talking to each other. Sigh.
Nice photo, but glad to see I'm not the only one fed up with the hand toys. Were I in Paulita's shoes, I would hope to have had the courage to get up and leave the table. Do people understand they are really being quite rude?
We should all put our damned phones away more often, shouldn't we? Including me.
