Three chefs
We found these three chefs taking a midday break.
Actually, I would guess two chefs and a cook?
The one on the left looks dressed as a chef,
and perhaps the man in the middle as well.
I wondered if the one on the right serves the plates?
Each of them has a white scarf or handkerchief
tied in a short knot around his neck.
Ah, la vie quotidienne!

I suspect that cooking and food is taken very seriously in Paris. I have to admit though the fun part for me is the eating and the savouring.
ReplyDeleteHello Genie:
ReplyDeleteDifficult to say but fun to speculate!
Fortunately there are still professions with their own uniform. Nice one Genie.
ReplyDeleteMust have been a hard day at work.
ReplyDeleteThey're looking quite serious!
ReplyDeleteI'm no expert on the hierarchy of French chefs' "chapeaux," but it's interesting that the youngest one here is wearing the highest toque.
ReplyDeleteAnother wonderful find -- capturing the life of Paris and not just the sights.
