Musée Rodin
This verdant scene is in the garden of Hôtel Biron,
the site of Musée Rodin, and sits in the shadow of Les Invalides.
This quiet place in Paris is worth a visit
to see the sculptures of Rodin
as well as some of Camille Claudel.
The garden includes some of Rodin's most recognizable
works including The Thinker and The Gates of Hell.

If we were to have such a clean an orderly managed park, I would be amazed. But I am sure in your country, such a clean and tidy park is normal.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful garden.
ReplyDeleteI would love to get into that museum
Bonjour chère amie,

I would love to see the original sculpture of the thinker. Such an iconic artwork.
ReplyDeleteEt comme (presque) partout en France "Pelouse interdite".

Lovely post, Genie. How good it would be to meander through those stunning gardens and then go to see the incredible sculptures of Rodin! Maybe one day I will...
ReplyDeleteMy all-time favorite museum in Paris. Loved having lunch there. Spectacular greenery in the photo.
ReplyDeleteCan't help it: My first thought when I come here is always "Imagine having this house and garden in the middle of Paris!"
ReplyDeleteLove this garden. So peaceful and quiet. Capitured beautifully.
ReplyDeleteI went there last September and it was so fabulous I didn't want to leave.
ReplyDeleteOne day I WILL get there - until then, the joke is on me. How many times have we tried to go?! :-)
