Une chaise haute - a child's café chair

Well, the little French children start early in the café life.

What could be a more perfect transition...
from the arms of Maman to a suitable chair on the terrasse.

  1. Hello Genie:

You are right. And wouldn't it be fun to own such a chair? We love it and the way it matches the normal ones!!

  2. I wonder if they had to "special order" it?

  3. Can't remember ever seeing a high chair that matched the bistro chairs before. Pretty cool !

  4. Ce n'est pas très fréquent car les restaurateurs ne sont pas toujours ravis quand on est accompagné d'un tout petit.

  7. This café must be an exception as I don't believe I have ever seen one before ... Nor have I seen children at these establishments!!! Cute pattern! You have such a great eye for interesting details!

  10. Jane and Lance - I have always wanted the café chairs and certainly this child's chair would have to be a part of the collection.

    Alain, c'est vrai!

To all of those who commented on the unique highchair, having never seen one before, I have a confession. This is in the St. Germain area and is frequented by... Americans. I suspect that the chair was a nod to the clientele.

I am always looking for unique objects, people, and scenes. Love having the comments.

    Bises,
    Genie
