Paris rouge - Macéo

Macéo

This restaurant has a quiet back entrance
framed in red with cherubs on either side of the doorway.

Perhaps a little worse for wear,
the sculptures still make a dramatic presence
on the quiet street behind Palais Royal.

  1. It is the wonderful little details in Paris (that ca be easily overlooked) which make this city so special. Warm regards

  3. Hello Genie:

We love this cherub, damaged or otherwise [indeed, we should call it 'distressed'], and it looks so striking against the red. We think we could find a place for it in the dining room!!

  4. I wonder whether it would be possible to do a little loving restoration to this watchful cherub.

  7. It is quite charming, Genie. Nothing wrong with a little wear. Indeed, I have a bit of wear on me, too . . .
