Église Saint Étienne du Mont

Église Saint Étienne du Mont

The windows, the architecture, the history,
the art, the details, the stories...

You could sketch, draw, paint, photograph...
listen, observe, watch, study, pray...
and still not absorb it all

bon dimanche

  2. You are so right, Genie - it is difficult to absorb it all in this splendid church. Unlike the churches in England, most churches in France have had their rood screens removed. St. Etienne-du-mont is a happy exception to that and has the only remaining rood screen in Paris - and what a beautiful thing it is.

«Louis» posted St. Dominic's, San Francisco for inSPIREd Sunday.
