Elle doit être une fille française?

On the street, in the rain,
une trottinette rouge,
red ballerina skirt,
black and white striped leggings,
puffy coat,
rubber boots,

and totally unfazed by the rain?

Yes, she must be a French girl

  1. As long as I am prepared I love to walk in the rain like the people in this photo Genie. I'll skip the scooter though. Need some rain over here. We have had three consecutive days above 40C and are headed for our fourth tomorrow. Gasp J.

  3. Bien sur! You must match the skirt to the trotinette!

  4. I think you must be unfazed by the rain if you are a French girl -- heaven knows, it rained every day I was there!

  5. Well I have a different opinion. Seeing the woman near hear (her mother?) and the man on the left with a suitcase (her dad?) I don’t think she is from Paris (she may live there) – she could be French, but most likely she is not (and her parents are not.) I am not trying to be difficult, but my first reaction was that she was not, pardonnez-moi.

  6. Vagabonde, you have made an insightful observation. I think that the person on the left was a woman, but not with the girl and her mother. I cropped the "mother" (could be a nanny) as I did not think that she looked very French (shame on me). I like to think that the little girl is French, but if she is not, she certainly commanded that trottinette like a natural.

Thanks for the analysis and for noticing the details ;-)

  7. I love her red skirt! I don't care if she's French or not- she could be.

  8. She certainly has some Paris style! (And must admit I had the same thought as you about her adult companion.)
