Courtyard
Rue du Cardinal Lemoine
Palms, wisteria, fatsia, evergreens, honeysuckle,
and the climbing vines that turn electric shades of yellow, orange and red in autumn.
I will have to check out this courtyard in the other seasons.
I think that it was designed for appeal no matter the time of year.

Oh, it's beautiful!! I want one just like it!! Thanks for sharing, as always!Hope you've had a good weekend, Genie, and a great week ahead!
ReplyDeleteIt is tremendously appealing.
ReplyDeleteQuiet a variety of trees in this courtyard all stretching for the light. It looks well cared for. Not overgrown. Just right.
ReplyDeleteThis is the opposite of "looking out". Great photo!
ReplyDeleteUne jolie cour bien propre et bien rangée, mais qui manque un peu de fantaisie.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful !
ReplyDeleteOne of those secret corners that you know so well how to find!Very pleasant!
ReplyDeleteThats a very nice one. I love the look of it.
ReplyDeleteOooooh ... Lovely! The steps are very inviting. I just want to follow them all the way up and in!
ReplyDeleteI don't think it could look bad unless they started putting out plastic lawn furniture!
ReplyDeleteWouldn't this be wonderful blown up to wallpaper a wall in your house with a little table and chair opposite it for a cafe and pastry?
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! How wonderful would it be to live on this tranquil green courtyard? Though barring that possibility, I think sillygirl's idea is brilliant.
ReplyDeleteMagnificent! Just absolutely magnificent. :)
ReplyDeleteBeauteous
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful spot.
ReplyDeleteStarman, I had not thought about it that way and it just the opposite of the theme day. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteSillygirl, that is a wonderful idea and would probably chase away any short-day wintertime blues. I am in Idaho working this week and the temps are absolutely frigid!
Jeanie, how horrible would that be! We could probably find a plastic pink flamingo to go with it - hah!
Thanks for all your comments!
Bises,
Genie
