Pont de l'Archevêché

Pont de l'Archevêché

Based on the hefty weight of
 many locks in the foreground,
the larger ones have likely been removed or
"pruned"

One does hope that
Edith and Hernando are doing well...

I like this "young" tradition! It proves that people still believe in love !

In my head Edith & Fernando are celebrating seven years of happiness.

The bridge may collapse I guess if the locks get to heavy, what a thought! Great photo. Have a good week. Diane

I know there is a lot of controversy about these, but I just am so glad Rick and I left our lock on Pont des Arts. We did it April 2012 and it was still there in July 2013... but for how long, who knows?

I had the exact same thought about Edith and Hernando. :~} And—wow—that is a whole lotta locks!

I wonder how long it will be before one of these bridges collapse from the weight of the locks? And I wonder if people will insist on placing them there after?
