Café Grevin
The saturation of red at Café Grevin is enhanced
by a sunny afternoon
This cafe is next door to the Musée Grevin waxworks museum,
and was designed with a domed glass ceiling in one part,
along with wood paneling.
The decor is unusual with sorceress mirrors,
red velvet upholstery and enchanted screens.
I would be quite content to sit here
and watch the pedestrians on the boulevard.

Ah, looks like my kind of place!! I'd be happy to spend some serious time there! Terrific shot for the day! You do capture the charm and appeal of Paris! Hope you're getting ready for a lovely weekend, Genie!

Today like yesterday, "Le rouge est mis"!
ReplyDeleteMusée Grevin was a most interesting visit.
ReplyDeleteWouldn't it be great to pull up a chair and while away an afternoon here.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Can I join you?
ReplyDeleteI too
ReplyDeleteWish I could be enjoying the sunshine there with you! Love the rouge!!!
ReplyDeleteMoi aussi! So if we're ever in Paris at the same time (I hope), let's meet right here and enjoy the passing scene ensemble.
ReplyDeleteSo much passionate red! Love! :D
ReplyDeleteYes, room for one more? sipping on an espress and watching the city go by.
ReplyDeleteGreat chairs!
ReplyDeleteOuch, however much I like red -- and I do -- this might need to be toned down just a smidgeon.
ReplyDeleteHow cheerful! Yes, it would be a perfect people watching spot!
ReplyDeleteI need my photo taken by Genie in a chaise rouge. Maybe in novembre?
