I love it there too, and always imagine what it would have been like to attend an opera there (even though I've never been to an opera). It's such a magnificent building that I love to visit- I went twice on my recent trip to Paris, showing different friends about- loved it both times.
Oh, yes! Count me in!!

ReplyDeleteThat would be wonderful.

ReplyDeletemoi aussi!
ReplyDeleteI love this spot. I can't enter without imagining ball gowns and elegant people celebrating music -- and being seen!
ReplyDeleteNot hard for me to populate your wonderful photo in my mind's eye, Genie. I'd be there with bells on—and long white gloves!
ReplyDeleteAnd a charming prince beside me?..
ReplyDeleteand could I stay longer than midnight?..:o)

This is so pretty, Genie. It is an angle I would shoot.
ReplyDeleteDance? A hundred years ago they would not have allowed the likes of me in there. Unless it was to clean up afterward.
