Le Champ de Mars - brasserie

Le Champ de Mars

I wondered how many movies have been shot here in front of Le Champ de Mars,
a brasserie sitting in view of La Tour Eiffel.

The dining reviews are mixed
but the people-watching quotient should be quite high.

The rouge awnings are perfect.

  7. Great angle! I would like a front row seat to people watch (nothing but vin et fromage) needed!

  8. i adored the way all the 'corner' buildings used the shape to their advantage .. i wonder if its a 'rule' of the Paris building code

  11. I was going to say what Peter said. Considering the view, you'd think those seats on the terrasse would be occupied all day and night.

  16. It was early and it was cold...

I can always get up earlier than the Parisians (and most of the tourists) to capture the streets, the cafés, the parks without too many people, but I have a very difficult time staying up until they all go to bed at night.

When you are Paris in the summer you can challenge yourself to burn the candle at both ends. It does not get dark until about 11pm!

    Have a great weekend, all!

    Bises,
    Genie

  19. Un beau bâtiment. Cette bière a un goût deux fois. Super symétrie du bâtiment.
