Le Champ de Mars
I wondered how many movies have been shot here in front of Le Champ de Mars,
a brasserie sitting in view of La Tour Eiffel.
The dining reviews are mixed
but the people-watching quotient should be quite high.
The rouge awnings are perfect.

Great building and a wonderful location!
ReplyDeleteOne of those quintessential Paris scenes. Makes me long to return.
ReplyDeleteHow attractive!
ReplyDeleteKuantan nature photos
The perfect Paris scene indeed and I want to return, too!! Terrific shot for the day, Genie! Have a great weekend!

It must have been very cold or very early... not a single smoker sitting there! :-)
ReplyDeleteI hope they shoot lots of movies here. It looks like the perfect spot for love or intrigue.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't mind sitting there with a glass of wine.
ReplyDeleteGreat angle! I would like a front row seat to people watch (nothing but vin et fromage) needed!
ReplyDeletei adored the way all the 'corner' buildings used the shape to their advantage .. i wonder if its a 'rule' of the Paris building code
ReplyDeleteWe had an espress and Oragina there. Lovely place to sit.
ReplyDeleteI have never been there, but I passed by so many times...
ReplyDeleteI was going to say what Peter said. Considering the view, you'd think those seats on the terrasse would be occupied all day and night.
ReplyDeleteLooks very welcoming!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous setting and view! And i agree about the red awnings. )
ReplyDeletePeter and Alexa beat me to the "why is no one there?" comment.
ReplyDeleteNice image.
Like a postcard, Genie ~ picture-perfect, isn't it! Bon weekend, my sweet.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great place to people watch.
ReplyDeleteIt was early and it was cold...
ReplyDeleteI can always get up earlier than the Parisians (and most of the tourists) to capture the streets, the cafés, the parks without too many people, but I have a very difficult time staying up until they all go to bed at night.
When you are Paris in the summer you can challenge yourself to burn the candle at both ends. It does not get dark until about 11pm!
Have a great weekend, all!
Bises,
Genie
I would like to be there early in the morning and watch the people.. What am I saying, I would like to be there at any time of the day... Maybe one day... I can dream.
ReplyDeleteI love how all the chairs are positioned in the same direction!
ReplyDeleteUn beau bâtiment. Cette bière a un goût deux fois. Super symétrie du bâtiment.
