Square Boucicaut
le carrousel
Almost hidden in the shadow of Le Bon Marché,
sits this vintage carousel.
Alas, it was too early in the morning for little passengers,
but by the afternoon it will be full.

Such a cheery carousel. It brings a smile and fond memories to my heart.
ReplyDeleteit appears to resting, waiting for the little hands and feet to return.
ReplyDeleteI love the way it seems to be peeking out through the foliage. Clara would love this pink delight!
ReplyDeletewhen Mary and I walked past there, and snapped a few shots, there was a Grandmere sitting watching her petite fille riding 'round ...
ReplyDeleteWith cars to ride in instead of animals - much better for smaller riders.
ReplyDeleteMakes me smile! I'd like a carousel ride now!
ReplyDeleteit's almost a state of mind, the enchanted world of a happy childhood...
