Jardin des Plantes

Jardin des Plantes

Walking alone in the garden, an alley of trees appeared,
presenting a carpet dappled by the sun
with a pattern of lace.

The sun was elusive,
and one must be quick to capture its appearance.

  8. You made it look so lovely Genie. Jardin des Plantes was I think the only place I"ve ever been disappointed in in Paris.

  9. Hi Genie, welcome back. I heard that you had the best time in Paris even though it rained a lot :) spring showers oui! At least you got to see the sun now and then as in this stunning image above. I really enjoyed Daryl's photos of your times together, I'm thinking you know Paris so well, la la you are looking tres 'French' :)

  10. How lovely! When I saw this, it was raining very hard and pretty cold. I'm glad you had better weather. Or at least I hope you did!

  19. Starman, when I took this shot, I thought that I should back up the extra 75 meters or so to get the full effect. Yes, it really is this long. It is just as stunning in the winter, but in a black and white way. I'll share one of those photos soon for comparison.

Jeanette, thank you kindly, and I am glad to see you here. Stay in touch.

I did take a Tenin (Eric) perspective shot but I was so close to the ground that much of the "lace" was lost. I'll share that one another time.

    Best regards to all,
    Genie
