The tree is gorgeous, yet all I could do was fixate on the top apartment with a sun room, on the top floor of the building. Some people have all the luck! Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)
I've seen that tree, in July, and you are correct, except for he fact that I was seeking shade, I would not have noticed that tree, but today? Gorgeous
Heureusement qu'en ce moment il nous reste des arbres comme celui-ci à admirer autrement on se croirait encore en plein hiver !... Excellente photo. Gros bisous
Magnificent. My son came home from France on Sunday. As he was showing me his photos, he said, I just took these because they looked French and I knew you'd want them. This photo is so French it makes me catch my breath...
I saw one of those trees in Paris when it was not quite winter but not yet spring. It didn't look quite as gorgeous as this one but it was already pretty enough.
It's gorgeous! I can see what you mean though -- the difference in winter and spring has never ceased to amaze me! Talk about rebirth!!

It's bursting with Spring Genie. A wonderful time of year for photography.
ReplyDeleteVraiment! It is just absolutely gorgeous. I also really like the building in the background. Aaah, April in Paris!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd what wonderful views those folks have that live in the apartments behind.

ReplyDeleteI think I know this house. And I was there before the blossoms bloomed and yes -- not a second glance. But oh! How stunning!

ReplyDeleteStunning Springtime! :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shot, Genie! I'm with French Girl—and I'd take that top-floor apt. with or without the beautiful-in-springtime tree.
ReplyDeleteImagine the view from those top apartments!
ReplyDeleteBeaute dans mon ancient quartier....
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tree! I just came back from Berlin where it was overcast, rainy and cold. The trees look still like in winter...
ReplyDeleteJ'aaimerais bien avoir un petit atelier d'artiste à cet endroit que je connais bien ou dans une rue voisine loin de la foule ...
