Carrousel - Hôtel de Ville
There is nothing as spectacular as a carrousel at night in a glory of lights.
It is even better when you throw your head back
to see La Tour Eiffel as you are spinning.
bon weekend

Lovely shot Genie. I must be seriously blind, I've never seen this carousel... Or I think the other famous one over near the Eiffel Tower itself.
ReplyDeleteooh la la .. adding this to the list of must see
ReplyDeleteIt seems France has a lot of carousels, much more than the US
ReplyDeleteThanks for the visit to my blog Genie...and this shot is lovely!

Wonderful shot of one of my fave Paris carrousels. (I'm kind of partial to the yellow airplane—not that I'd fit in it!) Bon weekend to you --
ReplyDeleteLove the carousels in Paris.
ReplyDeleteThat is very beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI know how much you love carousels. This must have been like a candystore.
ReplyDeleteA wonderful carousel and the magnificent Eiffel Tower... hm.. sounds a little like Heaven!
ReplyDeleteThere are so many carousels in Paris that I am not sure that I could count them all. I know of some that were "shuttered" on previous visits and there are a few that I must see still. See? I should have said photograph.
ReplyDeleteFrom the elaborate double-deckers like this one to the simple one with rings and simple horses, they are treasures.

Genie
