It's good to be the king. Of course, the poor guy died of obesity, gout and gangrene, aged 69. One of his descendants, Louis the 20eth, lives here in Spain, the last of the Bourbons, pretender to the thrones of France and Navarra
Chic! :)And you got a beautiful reflection in your picture, great capture!Happy weekend!Léia
Incredibly luxe.
J'espère que pour l'été ils avaient une tenue un peu plus légère.
That's so beautiful, I'm so looking forward to going to St Denis.
Grand! I want to stroke the velvet and ermine!
I think Liberace had one like that here in Vegas
Absolutely fabUlous...
Not many folks have somewhere to wear such a splendiferous garment! (Frankly, I'm pretty comfy here in my jeans and button-down shirt.)
Wow! That is so cool! What a sense of history.
At least, he wasn't ostentatious!
Now there is a snappy outfit! Magnificent even. :)
St-Denis is as rich as a large museum, and you could spend much of your life trying to see it all. I will show a view of the crowns another day. They are magnificently gold and jeweled!Alain, je crois que oui!JoeinVegas - now you are right about that! This is a bit fussy but, like M! I would love to run my fingers through that ermine!BisesGenie
