Victoria Antiquités
These hands appear to be touching the blue skies of Paris
They were over a corner shop, Victoria Antiquités,
which displayed a wealth of treasures in the store windows.

What a beautiful shot.
ReplyDeleteAn eye catching sign.
ReplyDeleteIt pays to look up, doesn't it! These make a fabulous silhouette against the sky. Nicely found, Genie.
ReplyDeleteI thought of a sign for a gloves shop..
ReplyDeleteI like the silhouette on the blue sky!
Unusual - great picture
ReplyDeleteI would have guessed that I could get a manicure here :)...Janey
ReplyDeleteBeautiful composition!
ReplyDeleteJolie trouvaille!
ReplyDeleteThe gloves look like camo! :)

What a great shot, Genie...it does look like they are touching the sky! :)
ReplyDeleteNot sure I get the connection between camo hands and antiques—but I love that you saw this, shot it, and shared it!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Virginia, it looks like a pair of hands in camo! Beautiful and unique photo. :)
ReplyDeleteParis is the city to be always looking up! A wonderful quirky capture Genie perfectly set against the bluest of skies. xx
ReplyDeleteHow odd. You would expect them to represent a nail salon or something like that.
ReplyDeleteExcellent sign.
ReplyDeleteI really did not make the connection between this shop and the sign (without words). Perhaps there had been a glove maker in this space in a previous time or a nail salon?
ReplyDeleteI am at a loss to explain the camo pattern.

Genie
