hello Genie: With such delicious looking goodies on offer, how could we refuse?!!
The cup and saucer looks wonderfully jolly in egg yellow. We think that ours would be very similar but they are in bottle green. We always feel that we are rather French when drinking from them.....!!!
Got up early to go to the Farmer's Market and wish with all my heart that I could find a snack like this, but I guess I'll have to settle for a cheddar cheese and bacon hot dog after I finish shopping. Doesn't seem to have the same appeal!
Count me in. I will have the piece of crusty baguette, s'il cous plaît, avec du beurre de Normandy et un peu de confiture de fraises. Oh, et noir, le café! Merci, Genie. Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)
What an inviting table. Wish I was there with you. I wrote Marshall another email to him and not to you...think I goofed and sent it before I could change the addresses...Told him to use whatever he liked. Hope you are having a nice weekend. It is wonderful here. genie
If we all have un café together, we shall order another basket of bread and we will ask Martine to bring one of her delightful "pots de confiture" for our breakfast.
Jane and Lance, I think that egg-yellow is a perfect description and I will clink a virtual cup to your bottle green cups tomorrow!
I would love to, Genie! Have a beautiful weekend!!
