Le cycliste

Ready to ride

She came whizzing by,
and it was all I could do to get my camera up for a shot.

Plaid must be quite the style now.
My friend Bibi at A Yankee-in-Belgrade
spotted a fellow clad in plaid from head to toe.

  4. Oh wow! Good to always have your camera ready! I think that is a decorated helmet. All in all, it's a pretty functional outfit.

  26. WOW! Dressed to the nines! Bicycling never looked so stylish! :)

  27. Kudos for the great capture (especially under the circumstances). Do you suppose she turned her helmet into a chic chapeau herself?

  28. Her boots are quite fine and very stylish... leather driving gloves, riding vest... I am not so sure about what she is wearing on her head, perhaps a helmet and a hat on top of that?

This should have been in b/w but I just could not resist her red plaid shorts!

What I did not say is that this is on a sharp corner heading toward Église St Etienne du Mont and I was a bit too close to the curb. I did not think that I was in danger, but my husband pulled me back right after I "clicked." I only got this one shot but I wanted to run after her and snap a few more - haha!

Thank you all for your much- appreciated comments.

    Bises,
    Genie
