Parc de Bercy is a group of three connected gardens:
The Romantic Garden with its fishponds and dunes,
The Flowerbeds,
The Meadows with its open meadows and tall trees.
This was my first visit in late March, a warm day with a high sun,
no clouds and a great reflection in this Japanese pond.
I will be back

Ce bateau est en état terrible. Je n'essayerais pas de le naviguer.
ReplyDeleteBelle photo, Génie.
What a lovely shot of a beautiful place. Lovely little boat
ReplyDeleteWhat a calm relaxing photo. Love it. Diane
ReplyDeleteNever been to this park. Is this boat a sort of permanent 'ruin' or has it just been abandoned?
ReplyDeleteYes, a nice park, especially in good company! :-)
ReplyDeleteIt looks so tranquil. A peaceful weekend to one and all.
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous! Would love to trek there avec tois!
ReplyDeleteI hope so (that you will be back).
ReplyDeleteI haven't been there either and would love to see more...Janey
What a gorgeous reflection! A beautiful discovery about Paris that you've shown me. I would love to wander here.
ReplyDeleteLove the boat but Captain, I think she's taking on water!

This spot looks like it would be a wonderful place to rest and ponder things...serene and calming!
ReplyDeleteI agree with V, the boat looks like it is ready to sink! HA
I love the Bercy Village!
ReplyDeleteLove this little wabi-sabi boat—beautifully captured, Genie!
ReplyDeleteAhh...now that is a place to stick in your back pocket to keep safe. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteGreat little spot.
ReplyDeleteBibi, this is a beautiful quiet park and this is an installation in the Japanese garden.
ReplyDeleteds, beautifully stated. This park will forever hold a special place in my heart, and I will be back.
Alexa, I have a book about a wabi-sabi cat and think that you are right!
I was able to talk with one of the gardeners, inquiring about the types of trees. We also saw the vineyard and formal gardens. The most beautiful pond flanked with wisteria covered arcades.
I will share a story one day about this place
Bises,
