Hello Genie: Seeing plants on window sills as you show here we always think of, somehow, as being very typical of European cities and, for whatever reason, outside of the British tradition.
Such a treat to find an unexpected splash of colour, especially when it's your favourite colour. I love window boxes and potted plants put out on balconies.
I love window boxes, too, love looking out my window and seeing the color and beauty! Delightful capture, Genie, I love the awning and the shadows which means wonderful sunshine!!
A simple awning with clean lines over the blazing blooms is a fantastic photo. The iron work adds a subtle touch, too.
