    What an absolutely wonderful image. Whilst we do not actually 'see' the sleeping or resting child, everything about her is conveyed in the stance on the bench, the shoes which she wears, the pattern of the socks. It is all magical, as is the colour of the seat and the collection of last year's leaves.
