Bonjour cheres amies, Genie et Penny! I can just smell them, dear Genie...what a lovely shot...may I buy some for my Parisian terrace as well? ;) Bises, - Irina
Beautiful shot, Genie, and I can just imagine lovely your terrace is!! Perfect to go with the lantern and I have no doubt that you'll find the perfect table and chairs! Hope your week is going well, mon amie!
A beautiful accompaniment to your lanterns, dear Genie. {I've just popped back to have a look at them. How does anyone manage to return home from Paris without arranging a shipping container of goodies to follow them!!}
You know of course that I am day-dreaming so I will plan an enormous terrace to hold all who want to join us... and, the skies will be clear in l'heure bleue.
I´m sure you will find the perfect table and chairs for your Paris terrace. I´m looking forward to having a glass of wine up there! Of course I will invite you also to my balcony ;-)
Herbs and flowers, one of my favorites things. One day Paris...
ReplyDeleteIf I keep saying it, I may get there.
Enjoy your week,
Penny

Lovely...
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm starting to put a little more herbs in my cooking. And am starting to plant some on cute little pots.

ReplyDeleteHello Genie:
ReplyDeleteThe herbs and flowers look so deliciously good together, we are sure that your balcony will look wonderful!
We are, however, horrified at the price of 4 euros for a Thyme plant. The equivalent here would be not quite 1 euro!!
Browsing a farmers' market can be uplifting... anytime.
ReplyDeleteA wonderful way to measure the seasons march.
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful composition!I also like taking pictures of flowers!

But in Paris it seems you can find these delights even in the dead of winter. Sigh.........

Can't wait for this Paris home so that I can come and visit :)
ReplyDeleteI can smell the thyme...
ReplyDeletewhat a great photo and I can smell the thym.
ReplyDeleteWhen looking for your table and chairs, have you tried the flea markets? Or maybe a restaurant supply store, if you can find one.
ReplyDeleteHA! Yep...all you need now is the cafe table and chairs. I'm starting to get the picture and I like it!
ReplyDeleteI love herbs and flowers mixed in pots or window boxes...especially rosemary and basil.
This terrace just gets better and better. If wishing made it so, we'd all be there now, inhaling the fragrant thyme and sipping on something yummy.
ReplyDeleteSo inviting. Mmm, I can smell them.
