If I could not have the 7-ton brass and crystal grand chandelier of the Palais Garnier, I would gladly take this lovely lamp with its Venetian-style adornment.
Paris is a pocket of sweet memories now, and it may have been my best trip ever.
I look forward to sharing stories and many photos.
I don't know how people get these things home without breaking them! Incredible!

ReplyDeleteAwww, Peter's comment takes the gateaux. So glad that you had such fun with David...hope that you'll still want to travel with your "chick" posse!
ReplyDeleteAssuming that I could somehow get this back home without breaking it, I coulde NEVER keep it dusted. Got a second place favorite? Maybe a bit simpler?
