Oskar at Longchamp

The shopping in Paris is "the cat's meow"
and Oskar enjoyed visiting the Longchamp boutique before he returned to the USA.

(Oskar is my travel kitty, given life by brattcat
and named for our first Paris apartment cat
and LaPouyette's Oskar who is recovering from an accident.)

  1. Oskar has great taste. Is this the Longchamp boutique rue St. Honoré. I have made many happy purchases there over the years! Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)

  3. I'm so not hip. I see Longchamp and think of the race track, not a handbag. Is Oskar related to the Travelocity gnome?

  4. Bear has no use for handbags by anyone, and thinks that cats make a furry snack.

Yeah, I desperately need to hibernate.

    A la prochaine, Génie.

  7. I at first thought of the racetrack, too. I think Oskar is cute. I have a traveling companion, Radovan, who has appeared on some of my posts.

  11. Oskar is a lucky duck...I mean cat!

I was in Paris this past Fall. Every third woman was carrying a Longchamp purse...Young & Old!

  12. Don't have a LOngchamp purse, but do have a scarf as a souvenir from my very trip to Paris.

Did Brattcat knit Oskar --- did he make an appearance on her blog; he looks very familiar.

  13. Well, at least you will never be lonely in Paris!

I've heard of Longchamp purses but never really knew what they looked like and from the looks of this window, I couldn't afford one either. LOL Shame...purses are the death of me. Some women love shoes and some "(like me) can't get enough purses! LOL

  14. What a charming traveling companion Brattcat has created for you, Genie! And so much cuddlier and easier to transport than a garden gnome. :~}

  18. Veronique, this boutique was at CDG which was great for a last minute purchase.

Oscar was created by brattcat, and if you click the link in the post it will take you to her post where she shows the step-by-step photos of Oskar's "birth."

I have always had a travel animal and "Kitty" has turned over the journeys to Oskar as "Kitty" retires at home. Oskar has many new adventures to anticipate and he really likes to get his Passport stamped!

    Bises,
    Genie
