Another day in Paris with bright blue skies with only the contrails of jets leaving chalk marks in the ceiling over Paris!
Holly, Isabelle and I met up with Virginia and Mary and our friend Anne at Rue Mouffetard for "dancing in the street.". Holly in her bright red coat had a full dance card and was the subject of many tourists' photos. We filled our memory cards with images and I will not forget the sounds of the traditional French music, accordion and talented voices.
Yes, a touching photo and text! I just checked your latest post, all with your touch, your Paris touch...! Impressed by all that you have posted during the week, knowing how busy your days have been! :-)
I had the exact same thought as Shell and was almost reduced to tears by this touching image, but am now picturing Holly dancing in the rue Mouffetard in her bright red coat—thanks for that image too, Genie!
Poignant image Genie, I hope the real story is not too sad!It sounds like you are having the best time in Paris (well really how could you not!) not that it matters, but I'm glad that you're having blue skies, it does make it easier to get around oui!
A tender moment. The little girl is learning an important lesson. Think about linking your cemetery photo's to Julie's new meme Taphophile Tragics via Sydney Eye. She's both a taphophile and a Francophile, so a perfect match for your blog.
That's a very sweet photograph.
ReplyDeleteA great picture. The little girl is in a hurry hmmm.
ReplyDeleteI love it! Wonder what their story is??? Wonderful capture, Genie!

Touching. My mind is filling in blanks, though it's a sad story no matter which path I wander down.
ReplyDeleteI hope they're visiting a loved one that lived a long and fulfilled life.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful picture that asks more questions than it gives as answers.

ReplyDeleteYou never know the story behind the picture sometimes.
Nice image, Genie. We don't need to know their truth. We can each supply our own version of a truth.
