At first glance this could be a rather sporty red Peugeot moto (with pink accents)
alongside a poster advertising soap from Reims.
With a longer view one sees a carrousel
(with counterclockwise rotation)
zoom-zoom!
(Joyeux anniversaire, ma chère Holly!)

Astucieux, très astucieux, Genie. Bravo! Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)
ReplyDeleteSuch a great pic!!
ReplyDeleteQuand "Peugeot" met ses chevaux dans son moteur...!!
ReplyDeleteGros bisous
Nearly like in a dream :-)
ReplyDeleteThe motor bike looks like its about to rev it's engine and break free from the set counterclockwise rotation of the carousel.
ReplyDeleteA carousel with a fun and quirky twist! A beautiful capture, Genie ~ I love both images.
ReplyDeleteAnd bon anniversaire to your dear Holly!
ReplyDeletecheers, holly. hope there's a carousel with a motorbike in your future.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't have noticed it was a carousel when you didn't show the second photo. Love the first one.
ReplyDeleteMerci for the birthday wishes! Last year it wasn't the red zoom-zoom but red coat running all thru Paris in the snow. I think I will use that rocket ship on the right to wisk me over there today to celebrate with a caramel tarte and a couple rides around the Carrousel before heading to "our" market & church for the processional. Sigh. :-) A girl can daydream on her way to work... and then make her own macarons & tartes (using her french Eric Keyser cookbook!)
ReplyDeleteI would have not noticed the carousel had you not shown the second photo Genie.

ReplyDeleteI also love this subject!

I love the advertisement for soap...how cute. Why is it that the French always know how to put together such great ads?
ReplyDeleteSweet!
A carousel with motorcycles, that's cool.
ReplyDeleteI like the thing that looks like a little trolley.
ReplyDeleteNice. The local carousels all seem to have horses, not motorcycles. (Happy b-day, Holly.)
ReplyDeleteNicely done!!! I like the close up best!!!
ReplyDeleteHow cool is that? I know some little boys (and some big ones, come to think of it) who would just love to ride on that carrousel. Happy birthday to Holly!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool post Genie! I love this motorcycle carrousel..and the little babies in the bath..how bizarre mais mignon!

ReplyDeleteWonderful shots Genie. I thought the first shot was one taken on the street.
ReplyDeleteA fabulous shot .......position, position, position.
ReplyDeleteBon weekend.
I wish we could all hop on that rocket and take off on a girls night out to celebrate Holly's birthday in the City of Lights! Just beautiful ... I am ready to go for a ride.
ReplyDeleteOh our Petit Prince would have loved that moto! Cute Carrousel Genie.
