Love it-- highly recommend you do not drive it around Paris, though, or "zoom-zoom" could turn into "crash-badaboum." == Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)
I wish I could have one of these waiting for you in Paris with a giant bow on it and a sign that says, " Joyeux Anniversaire Chère Genie! Have a wonderful time zoom-zooming on the Metro, buses and on foot through your beloved Paris! Gros bisous!
Yep, order me one, too! Oh, and a helmet to match! Fun shot for the day, Genie! Hope you have a wonderful weekend with lots of fun and laughter, mon amie!
Well, Starman, the weather today in Paris is just perfect. In the early afternoon even the cold-natured Parisians were throwing off sweaters.
I rode the RER-B in to Paris from CDG airport and then walked to my hotel. When I popped up at the street level the first time, I was facing Notre Dame and the Seine - Be still my beating heart! I took photos all the way to the hotel as "you can never create this perfect moment" again.
I met the talented Winterludes and her lovely daughter this afternoon and will post about that when I return. We celebrated our birthdays with some wonderful tea (and gateau) for her daughter.
Tomorrow early I will be at Marche Maubert with my camera and photos (to give to my subjects) again. Peter and I are meeting up to explore after that. I will update and always read the comments daily.
Oooh! We can tandem, Genie. :) Or perhaps start a pink scootercade, as I imagine I'm not the only one who wants to join you...

ReplyDeleteSerait-ce le scooter de Grégory Peck et Audrey Hepburn dans "Vacances romaines", repeint en rose?...

ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of the movie "Roman Holiday", though that was a Black & white movie.
ReplyDeleteIt's getting too cold for scooters.
