Oooooh, I'm with Vreni. It's the best place for breakfast and food shopping and the atmosphere is wonderful. Plus of course it boasts Stohrer's and who can resist that place?
I bought flowers this am to go in our window box and believe it or not, Genie, in the process I was thinking of some of the wonderful Paris and Beyond shots!
Such a delightful capture, Genie, and a wonderful reminder that in spite of all the violence, anger and unhappiness in our sad world today, there is still beauty to enjoy and soothe the soul! Hope your week is going well, mon amie!
Rue Montorgueil is one of my favourite streets in Paris!

ReplyDeleteI can't think of Rue Montorgueil without thinking of L'Escargot, one of my favorite restaurants.
ReplyDeleteOh, for a little pied-à-terre right there! Though at this point I'd take it pretty much anywhere in Paris. :~}
ReplyDeleteSome of my favorite pics are doors and windows. This one is fabulous.

It's like sunshine right outside the window.
ReplyDeleteIf this was my house, we would probably feel compelled to paint it, but it is perfect just as it sits on Rue Montorgueil.
ReplyDeleteI am finally home and leave again in a week for Paris with Nanette!
I am slowly this week catching up with friends again... Thank you for your comments while I have been so silent.
