Awesome! I love le Petit Prince de St Exupery. It was good seeing him again. From a new follower, Veronique aka French Girl in Seattle (posting from Nice, Côte d'Azur for a few more days ;-)
Funny fellow, looking handsome with his blond hair and waving scarf. What about your comment about the pond yesterday, I watched it closely and it is a frog. I don't think it is a fountain because there was another already in the pond. You are a keen watcher anyway!
To all who recognized this prince I salute you. I knew him in an instant but preferred his old fashioned look.
Maylss, I should have offered him a rose!
He was found on the door leading from the street into the courtyard of the museum. My guess is that I will not see him there again, but one never knows.
I am in the land of "the mouse" again but will fly home tomorrow with the help of some Tinkerbell dust (and prayers for the Delta bird)
How fun! And, oh, how I needed a smile this evening!! Thank you, mon amie! Hope your week is off to a great start! Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteWhat a coincidence, I was only this week, browsing through the book....nice foto!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful find.
ReplyDeleteSweet! I love the Little Prince, though this modern version of him looks more like Charlie from Charlie and Lola. I'll stick to the original I think.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful find Genie, Montmartre is the most interesting place. Perfectly captured.
ReplyDeleteGlad you have this memory of him!
ReplyDeleteWhat, pray tell, is it?
ReplyDeleteOh, what a find! How cute!
ReplyDeleteSeems to be paper glued on . I hope he is still there so I can find him myself!

Obviously not painted on the fence (or whatever the background may be), what was is made of?
ReplyDeleteGenie,
ReplyDeleteI love that! It is so sweet. I am a huge fan of the Little Prince.

Il ressemble certainement au petit prince de Saint Exupéry. Un petit prince qui pourrait marcher hors d'un mur.
ReplyDeletePhoto passionnante. Bien sûr!
Great picture. I am enjoying all the pictures from of this really beautiful country. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great find. Paris is always full of surprises and how fortunate we are that you have a keen eye to find those surprises!
ReplyDeleteDid you draw a sheep for him? did you give him a rose?.. if not, maybe he's gone now..
ReplyDeleteThe "guy" is so nice. Nice capture :)
ReplyDeleteWell, at least their street artists are fans of French literature.
ReplyDeleteNice find, Genie! I was kind of thinking what Dive said and wondering what St. Exupéry would think of this rendition.
