Oh, yes! Save a sip for me! I just finished my glass of wine for the evening -- wouldn't mind another sip or two!! Fun capture, Genie, mon amie! Hope your weekend is off to a great start!
Well, let's just pas the whole bottle around....save a drop for me, LOL. Love your pictures of people, Genie. And congrats on your one year anniversary. I love your blog!
In my part of Canada it's illegal to drink alcohol in public place like this. The government are prudes. The one in the middle looks like she forgot her laptop.
Ha, ha! I remember this ... Wasn't it a bit early in the day to be imbibing??? Not very lady-like in my opinion ... They should have been drinking from smaller bottles ;-0 -- it's more discreet. Bon weekend toute le monde!
Yes the 'mother' does look like she is typing on an invisible keyboard haha! Is organic cider like strong alcohol? Hope you are having a wonderful weekend Genie.
I thought that this was a mom and two daughters as well. Merci, beau gosse, for identifying the beverage. I think that they pulled it out of a bag and we imagined that it was not allowed in this park. Hey, at least they were not on the lawn!
Thank you for all the comments today. I have a house full of people this weekend and have not had time to visit and comment on blogs.
Lapin Agile, thank you for stopping in and for your comment. I hope that you will come often.
I lived just next to the Parc Monceau for a couple of years, back in the 80, rue de Logelbach, literally 20 meters away. 30 years ago, the parc was always full of British nannies, mostly working for some ambassador's families. Big British meeting point. Many good memories... Used to run in the parc with my neighbor Enrico Macias, a famous singer from that time.
Neat group portrait!!! Yes, definitely mother and daughter(s)--I can see the similarity in their ears -- something I am especially attuned to --lol. And, look, a real blonde!!! What interesting looking benches -- reminds me of roll-top desks.

ReplyDeleteAh! so it's organic cider - yes I'd have a sip of that for sure!
ReplyDeleteHave a safe week-end Genie. xx
They seem to be a mother and her two daughters...Drinking cider, even organic , is not the best way to fight the heat..
ReplyDeleteMaybe they forgot the glasses?
ReplyDeleteNice shot of the mother and daughters I suppose.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure a mother who takes her daughters to the park to get drunk is the best role model, but at least they make an intriguing photo.

Another great photo, love it.
ReplyDeleteThis could be my daughters and me (sort of)—only we'd probably have a bottle of Champagne (and some macarons to go with)! Nice capture, mon amie.
