Eglise Saint Louis d'Antin

Looking up into the dome of Eglise Saint Louis d'Antin, only a block from Printemps and Galeries Lafayette. The outside is plain and nondescript, but what beautiful sights are contained within.

Bon dimanche

  9. Magnificent. This fresco in the dome is very intense. It portrays the devotion the artists and their patrons had for their religion.

  14. Genie, you captured the light coming in from the dome window so well -- it bathes the fresco and makes to gold in the images shine. Lovely photo and a wonderful memory!

  20. It's nice to be able to see the details around the painting as well. I have a fascination with scrolls and doodle them everywhere.
